Yesterday I said that my body is no longer sore and that I was feeling extremely well for my first week of P90X, but that is not the case today as my whole body is sore to the point that I can't barely walk. My guess is that my body was able to function properly yesterday, and that the workout's intended effect took just one more day. Going by the schedule I have to do Stretch X when I get home tonight, and I am definitely looking forward to those stretches.
On the nutrition side of things I think my body is getting used to the change of food pretty well. A couple of years ago I did the Atkin's diet on the hardcore side very effectively for about six months, so the stage 1 of the P90X nutrition plan is very similar to the Atkin's diet. I am however, running low on food and might have to go shopping again either tonight or tomorrow. I think I am going to be shooting for tomorrow, because it gives me today to prepare a very thorough shopping list.
Anybody care to recommend some good high protein, low carb recipe?
