No longer sore

Sleep is good...

Today is day six since I started the P90X program. Last night I was able to complete the workout program that I was supposed to do earlier that morning, but this caused me to be done with everything by 1:30 AM. This is way past the time that I want to go to bed, 11 PM, and the amount of sleep that I would get would be about three hours maximum if I do decide to get up at 5 AM for today's workout. I did not get up at 5 AM this morning, and because of that I was able to get up well refreshed. There is an added plus from me staying in bed this morning, and that is that I am no longer sore from this strenuous first week of working out. So going by how my body is currently feeling, I have decided that I will be doing my workouts at night before bed and sleeping for as long as I can in the mornings.

On the hiking front

I have been in correspondence with a potential hiking partner. This is potentially amazing news for me, because this means that once we feel like it we can start tackling tougher hikes or even hikes that take a few days. I will be meeting this new hiking partner next Tuesday as we get to know each other and hike in the Great Falls National Park. Really looking forward to going to this national park because of the history and sights that it contains. Very Excited.
